The story of the brand can be compared to a long journey. A journey of traveling several countries, getting to know different cultures, faith, keeping a positive mind-set, hope, passion and many other things. It all started with Danielo Mendes visiting Austria to help a dance studio flourish and reach its fullest potential. Although, he was there for only a short amount of time, Danielo managed to leave a lasting impression amongst the students.

The students immediately connected with Danielo by sharing the same love for dance that he did. On the other hand, they were unable to fully express themselves without being concerned about what others thought. Through not only physical but mental training the students gained a sense of confidence that was previously not apparent. When this journey came to a close Danielo made sure to instill in them confidence, ambition, and to continuously express gratitude. In return, the students made Danielo a book expressing just that, entitled B.A.D. Born a Dancer.

What is to separate us from everybody else? Simple. Our story. Anyone can put a design on a t-shirt and call it a clothing brand. Behind Born A Dancer there is passion and drive to make a difference in the world of dancers. There are more than 7 billion people on the face of this planet, but no one has our story.

We exist to inspire other dancers around the world that have the drive and determination to pursue their dreams and turn them into reality. We want to connect hard-working, motivated individuals with one another creating a positive network for individuals with the same mindset: where success is the only option.
