Villain Attire

Villain Attire had a humble beginning in the hood of Long Beach CA when teenager Jonathan Sanchez, reached out to friends Jamie Perez and David Velasquez with the idea to start a clothing and lifestyle brand for young people, by young people. As dancers, skaters, actors and hip hop heads, the boys created a look to appeal to all the street kids and wanna be street kids out there.  With no money, no contacts, no help whatsoever, the boys embarked on a journey to build a company from the hood up, investing every dollar they earned from part time jobs and using their tremendous drive and motivation to turn nothin’ into somethin’. In October of 2011, they began to grow the company through grassroots marketing, using stickers as brand hit-ups throughout the city of Long Beach, even landing Villain an appearance during filming, publicity and marketing of the Warner Bros feature PROJECT X. Villain has already been contacted to be a major provider of wardrobe for the films’ sequel.

In early 2012, new merchandise such as t-shirts, crew neck sweatshirts & hoodies came along as kids in the community kept asking for more. The boys delivered product themselves and recently have set up an online shop that has been processing dozens of orders solely from grassroots efforts.

The team behind villain continues to look for funding and partnerships to take their dream to the next level, all while remaining true to who they are and what the brand represents…the villain in all of us.
